Leah is a creative storyteller with a background in design, marketing, and editorial content. She is a published children’s book writer and the founder of BLK Oceans, a website that inspires readers to discover and support Black-owned brands. Leah is a graduate of Boston College where she studied English and studio art before embarking on a career that led her to work with innovative media and technology companies including MAXIM and Boston magazines, E! News, Blavity, Shazam, RYOT/Verizon Media and others. She is a mother of two boys and currently resides in Memphis, Tennessee.
