Meshia is a serial entrepreneur who uses tech to create social impact, preserve cultures, and reconnect the African Diaspora.Over the last decade, she’s lived across 14 African nations where she’s worked on projects at the intersections of international development, cultural preservation, tourism, and public policy.While in Rwanda, Tameshia interned at the First Lady of Rwanda’s office and foundation where she developed community programming and mobilized funding and partnerships for the first lady’s initiatives. From Ghana, she spearheaded vendor engagement and curated tourism experiences for global audiences as a founding team member at a venture-backed travel startup. This led to features in Vogue, CNN, Essence, Voyage Dallas, Fields Magazine, Atlanta Blackstar, and a RealStories Documentary. She’s also been published in The Africa Report and Sawubona.When she’s not working or traveling, she’s researching her family history.
