Yvonne is the CEO and founder of Ye Olde Tutor, an EdTech startup disrupting the tutoring industry.  She got her start as an English teacher. Working in middle school and high schools, as well as public and charter schools. She then took on big tech working at Apple, SFCU, eBay, and Meta developing corporate learning and leading global teams.  After her experiences in the classroom, Yvonne became a fierce education advocate. She supports local schools by participating on their advisory board and speaking events with students. After spending nearly a decade combined in the classroom and in the corporate learning space, Yvonne breathed life into Ye Olde Tutor. She works to bring equity to students across the country by developing resources that are attainable and engaging to students everywhere. Yvonne resides in Austin with her husband and daughter and enjoys trying new coffee shops on the weekends.
