Amanda Zieselman

Amanda (she/hers) is passionate about the right to health care and dismantling barriers that prevent folks from accessing resources. Before joining Visible Hands, she was a strategy consultant to nonprofits & foundations and helped organizations incorporate community voices and take a partnerships-based approach to social change. Amanda is also the co-founder and Executive Director of Health Advocacy Innovations, a global health nonprofit working to make childhood tuberculosis treatment more efficient and accessible.

Amanda was born in St. Louis, MO but raised in MA, is on the YW Boston Advocacy Committee, volunteers as a grant reviewer for United Way, and has been a delegate for Cambridge’s Participatory Budgeting process.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys trying new recipes (for both food & drinks!), spending as much time in the sun or snow as possible (she loves the winter), and traveling to new places or to spend time with family & friends.
