Jackie Byun was most recently a Brand Designer at Design Minded where she worked on young to established brands with firms like Pentagram and Saint-Lazare. She graduated from Smith College with a degree in Computer Science and Urban Studies, and then worked at the D.C. Government's Office of the Chief Financial Officer as a technical consultant. She cofounded a think tank in D.C. called The Sustainable Culture Lab where she runs operations, partnerships, and design. She was also the Board Chair of the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum’s D.C. chapter where she started one of the few Asian American women’s book clubs in the city.

In her free time, Jackie likes to travel, read, bike, and volunteer with local organizations, especially community farms.
