Brittany Brathwaite (her/she) is a reproductive justice activist, entrepreneur, and community accountable scholar with a deep-seated commitment to supporting the leadership, organizing, and healing of Black women and girls. Brittany is the co-founder of KIMBRITIVE, the sexual wellness home for Black women providing, content, community and expert care where Black women feel seen, heard, and celebrated. For over a decade, she has worked to create change through sexual health education, sexual violence prevention, reproductive justice advocacy, and education policy reform. Brittany is also pursuing doctoral studies in the Critical Psychology program at the CUNY Graduate Center. Her research interests include obstetric racism, Black girlhood, and Black Feminist Health Sciences. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies from Syracuse University and a Master of Public Health and Social Work from Columbia University.
