Melissa is a cognitive scientist, professor, and cofounder and president of ThinkHumanTV! She received her bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science (with a minor in Poetry) form UPenn, her Masters of Education from Teachers College, and her Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from Columbia University. Mel has been an education consultant and curriculum designer for the past decade. She also teaches a class that she co-created on the Cognition of Social Emotional Learning at Columbia University. When not teaching or running her company, Mel is a yogi, dancer, museum-goer, theater-goer, and loves to read and write poetry.
